A Union cavalry unit rides deep behind enemy lines on a risky mission to destroy a key rail supply hub. Tensions flare when an outspoken army doctor clashes with the hard-driving commander, and the situation grows more complicated after a local woman overhears their plans and must be taken along to keep the raid secret.
