In late-1970s Manchester, a restless TV reporter gets swept up by a punk concert and decides to champion the city’s emerging bands. As the scene explodes, he and his friends build a record label and a notorious nightclub, riding the highs, chaos, and cultural impact of a fast-changing music revolution.
